Falmouth Academy 'Whales!' class
Summer 2015
Learn about the fascinating world of whales and how these mammals have adapted to the marine environment, how they communicate with each other, how they find and catch prey, the impacts that human behavior has on their survival and what you can do to help. Climb inside a 50' inflatable whale, meet real marine biologists, learn how data is collected and identified and get out on the water on a whale watch in Provincetown to look for these elusive creatures! This course will focus particularly on the North Atlantic right whale and other species common to the waters of Cape Cod.
